Sloan’s Lake Park is a land for adventure
4 blocks to the north, you’ll find Sloan’s, Lake Park! It features 290 acres of water and greenery. The Mile High City’s second-largest park and the city’s largest body of water is located in Denver. The park has walking trails, mountain biking, bird watching, fishing, boating and waterskiing, paddle boarding, picnic areas with grills and barbecues accessible for visitors with disabilities (with reservations), public tennis courts, and basketball courts. Baseball diamonds, softball diamonds, and football fields are also available.
Visitors can explore this historical landmarks like no other! The main hiking route is 2.6 miles long and takes an hour to walk around. Sloan’s park has panoramic views of both the Rocky Mountains and downtown Denver! It is also possible to explore the lake for free, as well as park and access most other services.
